This was a project done for my Master Degree at Mexico City, with three delivered animations of my character done in colaboration with my team as a final delivery.
I came up with the develpment of the character in 2D for its study, prior to getting to the 3D modeling (sketches and inks were hand made).
I was responsible of 3D sculpting the character inside Zbrush.
I did the retopology of the boots of the character inside Blender.
I textured the character with Substance Painter and added snow details with Maya's node tree of 3D textures (which in the end threw unexpected results but then again, live and learn).
I did the animation for my three main scenes inside Maya.
I did the post processing of the final render with After Effects using render passes.
The monster which appears in one image, my sole contribution was texturing (within Substance Painter) and preparing the shading within Maya, also used some 3D textures to emulate the snow.
All rendering done with Maya's Arnold.
